Moving to Florida
Carl and Carol decided to sell the farm and head for warmer places late this summer. So they packed up a small sample of their belongings into the biggest Penske truck they could find (26 foot) and headed South.
If you ask me you can have the alligators, mosquitoes, and other larger nasty insects. Too many of them are already making their way north. Climate change? What? See my post on snow. There are no biting blood sucking insects in snow and all of our snakes are small enough to eat and not the other way around. Anyway after a long day of going up and down those murderous concrete stairs and with minimal help they made it.
Hitched up the car and headed out. Ala "Escape From New York" On the road just a little after 1 in the morning.
Hey wait a minute... Isn't that my car on the hitch going with them???!! Hope they are enjoying all that warm weather down there. They should before the state sinks beneath the rising Atlantic ocean.
